Dis/Proportionate

The mentalist debate hash over the Arday aggro seems to have nestled on the question of disproportionality.

Do me a favour.

Yes, every right-wing loon pumped spooge into the suggestion that Arday was a bullshido black belt.

Just as every Leftwaffe gimp is curling out onto Führage and his £5m donation caper.

That’s the way it rolls.

It would be disproportionate only if rigorous argumentation still mattered, so this is probably all just normalised, proportionate dissing.

Meanwhile, some bright spark has wheeled out Nazir Afzal to chair an inquiry into Cambridge University, to, erm, ‘examine the support, interventions, and protections available to Professor Arday during the period prior to his death’

Could some wag please turn that telescope back round the right way?

If the late sage had secured some self-protection via transparent credentials and had booted the bogus background, he wouldn’t have even blipped on the radar.

Perhaps old Nazzer should exhume the bare bones of the broken, woke vetting process and its impact on degree outcomes of financially rogered, fee-paying students?

As for the chair himself, he’s an established player in the game of race matters.

No matter how impartial he is, he won’t be seen to be so.

And in matters of racial justice, the optics are really where it’s at.
