All hell has broken loose at the Ricoh – or whatever it’s now called – although it was shame that a football match hadn’t.
Fat Frank pointed to the sky after the winning goal, which led to the West Midlands Thought Police scrambling helicopters to apprehend the phone-brandishing miscreant.
It’s how Frank rolls.
Some Coventry fan held up a photo of Bradley Lowery and pointed at it, smiling.
Yes, flashing up a photo of a dead kid is sick stuff, but does it merit police action? Well, yes, in a hostile environment where grannies get nicked for vocalising opposition to genocide, smirking at a photo of a lad with cancer could mean a jab with an AIDS-infected meat stick.
I’m astounded that flights to Palestine aren’t crammed with Sunderland fans desperate to address the human rights outrages in Gaza.
Well, hey ho. This does appear to be a greater human catastrophe.
If the chump had specifically directed the gesture at Bradley’s family, that might indeed have merited a Public Order rap.
But he hadn’t .
This was a yoof, probably no older that 15, who had set about winding up some intellectually challenged man-babies, who are now spooging the footage over the internet and inviting a pile-on.
Achievement unlocked.
But it’s no more than a bad call that has led to a deluge of irresponsible, virtue-signalling shite.
Grown men larging it about ‘battering’ a child just to deflect from their own shortcomings,
It’s as transparent as it is sad.
The social media shitstorm is all about the need for grown men to perform their values, or rather the values they are desperate for us to acknowledge they have.
There’s a big difference.
These bloated wangs need validation because they sure as hell don’t get it at home or at work.
The police should now dust down the charge book for all the clowns who shared the video online as they are the ones who have brought it to the attention of the family, who would otherwise have been none the wiser.
But they won’t, will they?
